Learning Japanese....On the intertubes!!!

Hello again guys, thanks for taking the time to read the first line of this blog post, you're going to regret it.

So iv been trying to learn Japanese, its been a long and arduous process of finding a method that doesn't rely on me shedding out hundreds of pounds to get lessons, with that in mind though, I will be taking lessons at some point, as there's no substitute for getting some conversation practice with a fluent speaker.

So after hours of trawling through the internet I found a lovely channel by a guy called RisuMiso, who in a series of videos starting with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CfSpdGSVsc intro ducted me to the wonders of a program called Anki...which then refused to run on my pc, but no matter, a replacement was quick in the finding, with a website called SmartFm.

Both Anki and Smart Fm are SRS programs, below is a small video from Smart Fm explaining why its all so amazing and why you should use it.

I actually agree with everything in that video, I suck at languages, in French I got a U, and that's hard to deal with as a normal straight A/A* student, even in English with this terrible spelling and grammar, so when I wanted to learn Japanese I was amazed to find myself mastering the Hirigana with relative ease, and although i'm still reviewing the last few to try and get it to the point were the Hirigana “Is not remembered, rather it is known” then I will be working on my katakana or kanji, woo!woo!

In my next post ill go into a bit more detail on how you can use simple free methods in conjunction with smart FM, to increase your remembrance capability.

i cant seem to get the video to display in a suitable fashion, sorry.

Bye for now.

So guys, I thought I would talk a little bit more about what i hope to do with this blog.

So firstly, I am hoping to talk about me... a lot...yeah....sorry about that.

I want to talk about my personal experience juggling raiding, chasing skirt, school work, and extra curricular activity's into my normal day.

I am coming to the end of my GCSE years now, and I am studying History, Geography, ICT and Resistant Materials.

On the other side of the coin, I am trying to learn Japanese, which ill talk about a bit later on in this ere blog.

Anyho, I`d better run, I have to give a speech tomorrow on the word "Fang" which should be interesting to say the least, and before you ask, yes, there are pirates in it.

Hello Guys.

Hello, and welcome to my blog, I am glad you found you way here, so far i have no idea about how this blog is going to turn out, so heres a few things about myself.

I am a single 15 year old, I actively play World Of Warcraft at a high level of raiding, iv also had experience at guild leading, I am currently single! Boo!, In most ways im your average, slightly geeky teen, i cause some low level disruptions at school, but not enough to have a huge impact on mine, or others, grades. I listen to heavy metal music or dare i say it, a fair chunk of trance, my real life is more than fubared, so i might talk about that to some point in this.

I am planning on keeping my real life identity out of the occasion for the time being, until I know what I am going to do with this here blog, but to start, this post should give both you, and me a idea of what I am doing... I hope.

oh last words, I also play leauge of legends, and am hoping to find a game at which I can get to tournament level, hmmm what else, iv been forced to draw some manga by a friend in the last few weeks, so I might post that up here at some point.

have fun :)

I believe there.
